Ackles had hoped to pursue an education in sports medicine to become an therapist, but his modeling stint changed his life. Ackles was featured in Days of our Lives, a show that won the Emmy Award. It is said that he displays a stunningly beautiful screen presence as well as a remarkable ability to entertain his audience.
